There is 139.5 acres in CRP. The CRP is a native grass mix consisting of Switch Grass, Side Oats, Grams, Green Spangle top, Big Bluestem, Indian Grass, Plains Bristle Grass, Illinois Bundle Flower, and Purple Prairie Clover. The remaining is in woodland and old fence rows. There are several large white oak trees, Sugar Hackberries, and Black Locust. 70 acres of the grass land was bailed in 2021 making 196 round bales weighing 1200 pounds each. There is a good water well and good 5 wire fence on three sides. The hunting is excellent, deer, turkey, quail, dove, and hogs.
